The Edelbrock Victor 454-R Intake Manifold for big blocks offers superior performance for drag racing and marine applications. The Victor 454-R is for rectangular port heads and fits the same when a tall-deck block is used. The intake manifold directs the air or air-fuel mixture from the throttle body to the intake ports in the cylinder head. The flow typically proceeds from the throttle body into a chamber called the plenum, which in turn feeds individual tubes, called runners, leading to each intake port. The Victor manifold accepts 4500 series carburetors or standard flange double pumpers with the Edelbrock adapter #8716.
